My first job in the great field of education was at Everman High School, located in Everman Texas. I started working there in September of 2015 as a behavior interventionist. From Everman, I moved to Emory Texas, and began coaching and teaching at Rains Independent School District in August 2016. I am now entering my 5th year at Rains Independent School District and 6th year in education. I am currently working as the Primary Teacher for BEST (Behavior Emotional Social Training).
I worked in Corrections for two years at Nacogdoches County Jail. Working there has helped tremendously with working in DAEP. Learning not to stray away from structure and management has helped me the most. Knowing how to keep my composure and to communicate effectively with others through situations has also helped me in the classroom.
I am married with two children.
I really enjoy fishing, coaching, riding motorcycles and being surrounded by family.
